Special guest: harmonica player Giuseppe Milici · Musical direction by Luigi Rana
On stage
The concept
A rare musical complicity, led by the magnetism of Brazilian-born singer SELMAH and the virtuoso breath of Italian harmonica player Giuseppe Milici, under the musical direction of Italian producer and arranger Luigi Rana, awarded multi-platinum records across Europe and Asia.
The project reveals a sunlit, rhythmic Italy, deeply connected to the heart of Brazil. SELMAH brings to the stage an important chapter in the musical history of the two nations, weaving Brazilian harmonies into the great Italian song tradition: from Jimmy Fontana to Jobim, from Domenico Modugno to Ivan Lins and João Bosco, all the way to Ornella Vanoni, the grande dame of Italian music.
Celebrating fifty years of the album «La voglia e la pazzia, l'incoscienza e l'allegria», recorded with Toquinho and Vinicius — the landmark work of the most beautiful musical collaboration between Italy and Brazil.
A show that goes beyond the music — anecdotes, stories and moments of rare spontaneity.
